This exhibit displays one major way of heat transporation: convection.
The visitor sits on a chair, and turns the pedal generator, which heats a resistor in the water tank. Raising warm water is seen as a shadow of smoke on the screen, when lit by focused light.
This exhibit is very popular due to its high level of interactivity. 

Maintenance: Replace (deionized) water every third month.
